About As For Me and My House- Parent Support Group

Parenting in today's world can be quite challenging. This group provides a safe and supportive space for parents to seek and share wisdom and support in parenting while also learning what the bible says about Godly parenting. We are stronger and better together! Read through some of the group's goals below and see if this could be a fit for you.

Goals of this group:

 1. Spiritual Growth: Foster an environment where parents can grow in their faith and deepen their relationship with God, providing a strong foundation for their parenting journey.
 2. Parenting Skills and Techniques: Provide practical guidance and resources for effective parenting based on Christian principles, including topics like discipline, communication, and setting boundaries.
 3. Biblical Guidance: Offer insight into how biblical teachings and values can be applied in everyday parenting situations, helping parents make decisions that align with their faith.
 4. Community and Fellowship: Foster a community where parents can connect, share experiences, and offer mutual encouragement, building a network of like-minded individuals.
 5. Prayer and Spiritual Support: Facilitate opportunities for group members to pray together, seeking God’s guidance and support in their parenting journeys.
 6. Education and Workshops: Organize workshops, seminars, or guest speakers to address specific parenting challenges, incorporating Christian perspectives and solutions.
 7. Parent-Child Relationships: Provide resources and discussions on how to strengthen the bond between parents and their children, emphasizing love, trust, and mutual respect.
 8. Crisis Management and Coping Strategies: Equip parents with tools to navigate difficult situations, such as loss, trauma, or behavioral issues, while relying on their faith for strength.
 9. Encourage Biblical Values in Children: Share strategies for instilling Christian values and virtues in children, helping them grow in their own faith journeys.
 10. Outreach and Service: Encourage parents to engage in community service and outreach projects as a way to model Christian values and involve their children in acts of compassion.
 11. Personal Growth and Self-Care: Emphasize the importance of self-care and personal growth for parents, recognizing that a healthy, well-balanced parent is better equipped to nurture their children.
 12. Accountability and Reflection: Create a space for parents to reflect on their parenting practices, seek accountability, and celebrate achievements, while also addressing areas for improvement.
